HD or Not HD... That’s Not The Only Question!

Although making the leap into the world of High definition is easy, deciding how you leap isn’t. There is the choice of technology, (LCD or Plasma) then there is the choice of service, (cable or satellite) and then there is the choice of setup. Although each decision you make is crucial to achieving the Home Theatre experience of your dreams, it is the last that is by far the most important. Having your system professionally installed can transform your living room into a true Home Theatre.

Anyone can mount a television to a wall, but it takes a professional to do it correctly. When shopping for an installer, be sure to do your research. A good installer must be very knowledgeable and should be able to assist you in both the design and the installation of your system. Many major retailers are now offering installation services although this may not always the best way to go. While they do offer trained technicians, they are usually priced much higher when compared to smaller independent companies. Price is a very important factor, but it should not be a deciding one when choosing your installer. One of the best ways to find your installer is word of mouth through friends, family, or co-workers that have recently had their systems installed. Aside from hearing about their experience you will also be able to check out the installer’s work first hand.

There are several benefits to have your system professionally installed. A professional installer can help you plan for any future expansion of your system in the form of running extra cables to facilitate adding components at a later time. This simple step will save you a lot of time and money in the long run. Aside from having it done correctly, a professional installer will also teach you how to use your system. They will show you how to use each component in your system, program your remote and configure your system for the best possible picture and sound experience.  After all what good is a Home Theatre if you have no idea how to use it? Then there is after sales service that only a qualified professional installer can provide. Should any questions arise after the install, your installer should be able to answer them right over the phone. Last and most important, a professional installer is INSURED! And it is nice to know that should anything unexpected happen, you will be covered. Having your system professionally installed gives you the one thing that is hard to put a price on, Piece of Mind!

This is were we come in!
